I finally got around to posting some photos of Colin’s first time ever trick-or-treating. Colin was quite excited about the idea of trick-or-treating as he put on his costume in preparation. After a few doors, however, Colin seemed to tire quickly of the whole experience. Having never tasted any candy before, he wondered why he was going through all this trouble. Without any motivation to continue, Colin was ready to head home. Fortunately, he bumped into a few very motivated friends and Colin had a lot of fun hanging out with his friends the rest of the night. At the end of the night, with his friends munching on candy left and right, it was hard to keep Colin from doing the same. So, Halloween 2007 was the first night Colin tasted candy, M&Ms and Reese’s Pieces. Need I say whether he enjoyed the candy? He has been constantly asking for candy since. Right now, we’ve put in a rule about eating candy only once a week. We’ll see how well Colin deals with that.
